2081 Immunotherapy Unit: Start and Monitoring

Background:  Immunotherapy  Units  are becoming an essential component   in our  services. Its importance lies on cluster shedules, meeting the safety requirements.
  Methods: 110 patients have started his treatment in our unit in 6 months.The diagnoses was Rhinoconjunctivitis and asthma or Rhinoconjunctivitis with sensitation to  pollen, mold or epithelia and to hymenoptera allergy .. These patients were diagnosed with rinoconjuntivits and / or allergic asthma to apolenes, mites, fungi and epithelia or systemic reaction to Hymenoptera allergy. Our unit consists of two doctors and a nurse, located in the usual consultation. The 64 men and 45 women with an age between 8 and 73 years with an average of 40 years.

C) Results: 363 doses of immunotherapy in the unit during the first six months of operation. All patients received cluster schedule. Have been scheduled 3.25 half doses per patient, before being referred to the clinic. In 10 cases had reaction, corresponding to 2.7% Corresponding to 7 patients.
