The diagnosis is made with skin prick tests corroborated and / or specific IgE, in addition to the challenge test double-blind, placebo controlled.

 OBJECTIVE .-

To determine the prevalence of food allergy in adult patients of the Allergy & Clinical Immunology

Methods:

-          We included 24 patients with a history of hypersensitivity to food of 600 who attended the service at 1-year study

-          Was performed to Prick Prick all patients who reported food hypersensitivity

Results:

-          22 female patients and 2 male

-          15 (62.5%) patients with hypersensitivity to Rosaceae, 3 (12.5%) with seafood allergy, 2 (8.33%) to nuts, 2 (8.33%) to pork and 2 (8.33% ) to milk derivates.

-          Hypersensitivity to the Rosaceae (62.5%); apple (93.3%), peach (73.3%), Strawberry (53.3%), Pear (46.6%), Kiwi (33.3%) and avocado, melon, plum (20% each).
