Xcaret (Cancún Center)
Learning Objectives:
Nasal function is significantly regulated by afferent neural input from the nasal and other mucosal surfaces, and systemic afferents. Common efferent, secretory parasympathetic and vasoconstrictive sympathetic responses originate in the brainstem. Nasal irritation and trigeminal afferents can also modulate lower airway function during inflammation.
