Learning Objectives:
1) Recognize that anaphylaxis is a life-threatening acute reaction which, although increasing in prevalence is  frequently misdiagnosed, under-reported and under-treated.
2) Increase awareness with regard to diagnosis, prevention and treatment of anaphylaxis in order to improve patient outcomes.
3) Understand that rapid and proper administration of intramuscular epinephrine is essential and the standard of care in the management of anaphylaxis.
