Learning Objectives:
Anti-IgE therapy has recently been reported to be of benefit for patients with chronic urticaria or other
allergic skin disorders. This lecture will review and discuss the evidence for beneficial effects of anti-IgE
treatment on allergic skin conditions, especially chronic urticaria, and provide recommendations on when
to consider this treatment option. In addition, this lecture will give practical tips on how to dose and apply
anti-IgE in routine clinical practice and on how to monitor the effects of this treatment.
