Background::Investigations using high-resolution CT scan show that bronchiectasis is found in many patients with Asthma.

Materials and Methods: In our  Study we had investigated the presence of Bronchodilatation in 80 patients with stable atopic Asthma and 20 healthy control subjects.

Results:

At least one dilated bronchus was present in 35 Patients(43,8%) and 1 control subject(5%).

Conclusion: We suggest  to do HRCT-scan in Difficult to treat atopic asthma.
